The Optex HX 40 is a high mount outdoor detector for high end applications where reliability and performance are a must. The unique pyro element at the heart of this sensor provides multiple pattern detection within 94 high density detection zones and accurate discrimination function for spot temperature changes of moving objects. These features drastically reduce false and missed alarms cause by severe outdoor environmental changes and provide a wide range of applications. Accurate detection performance is necessary in such environments, and the HX 40 meets these requirements. This sensor features Ideal Detection Area Setting, which allows the detection area to be set at 40 , 30 , 18.3 , or 13.3 . This allows installation based on the surroundings.
