This RAB Lighting SL500 Smart Lantern sensor provides 500 watts of incandescent switching capacity, 240 watts of fluorescent switching capacity, and 180 degrees of detection coverage. It is suitable for indoor or outdoor automatic light switching and can accommodate a variety of light fixtures that fit between the mounting plate and the dangling sensor. It has an LED indicator that remains on day and night and a built in surge protector that withstands up to 3,000V. Its switch on time, ambient light sensitivity, and motion sensitivity are adjustable, and its photoelectric control deactivates lights during daylight. It is not compatible with instant start ballasts. This Smart Lantern sensor is Underwriters Laboratories UL listed as suitable for use in wet locations.
