Essex Hand-E-Tap Access Switches are durable, ADA-compliant, field-programmable door access switches. Designed to be virtually indestructible, these switches cater to all users, including those who are sight, hearing, or physically impaired. Using proprietary Piezoelectric Switch Technology, they can be activated with a light tap on any part of the switch, or even with a gloved hand, elbow, or cane. These switches are ideal for controlling automatic doors, electric locks, magnetic locks, or other electrically controlled devices in both high-use and harsh environments. Field-selectable options include adjustable output modes (timed or toggle), programmable audio feedback, and illumination status indicators.
