Keyscan K-SMART3 13.56 MHz Mobile-Ready Smart Card Reader

The Keyscan K-SMART3 is a 13.56 MHz mobile-ready smart card reader designed for Keyscan access control systems. The K-SMART3 supports both physical credentials and Keyscan mobile credentials, making it suitable for new access control installations as well as system upgrades and retrofits.

The K-SMART3 smart card reader supports Keyscan K-SECURE credentials, compatible Keyscan credentials, and ISO 14443 contactless smartcards for card serial number reading. It also reads the Keyscan 36-bit format for enhanced credential encryption and provides a standard Wiegand interface for connection to compatible access control panels.

Built for indoor or outdoor installation, the K-SMART3 uses rugged, tamper-resistant epoxy construction and provides an anti-tamper heartbeat function that can trigger an alarm condition if the reader signal is interrupted. Auxiliary LED indicators provide visual confirmation of Keyscan Present3 and lockdown functions.
